Williamsburg, VA (March 26, 2007)  -  The Virginia Legacy Soccer Club had another great showing at this year’s 2007 Spring Classic hosted by Beach FC. With all of the top tier teams from the Legacy in attendance for the weekend, the Legacy women’s teams were the ones making all the waves at the beach.

The VLSC U12 Phoenix team went undefeated in their quest for the championship, gaining nine points in three games to earn them 1st Place in the tournament. The U14 Phoenix also went unbeaten as they finished 1st in their group and went on to run through the semi-finals and final match. To make it a clean sweep, the U16 Phoenix went unblemished in their run to the championship.

The Virginia Legacy is continuing their recent success, and just at the right time of year. The Legacy will be back in action very shortly as the VCCL starts its spring season on March 31 along with the VSLI starting their league games the following day on April 1.
