Ta’jee Harley of the U13 Wizards selected to id2 regional training camp
Camp being held in Germantown, MD
Williamsburg, VA (September 11, 2007) - US Club Soccer and NIKE have teamed up once again to announce their national identification development program, also known as id2. The id2 regional training camp will host some of the top youth soccer players from across the country to gather and participate in a four-day long training combine.
This year, Ta’jee Harley of the Virginia Legacy U13 Wizards has been selected to this exclusive national event. After an entire year of scouting tournaments, matches and national cups, id2 regional scouts have selected a talented pool of players to attend this year’s id2 regional training camp. Ta’jee is the only player from the club selected for this year’s camp, but in years past, Zach Harris (of the current U15 Wizards) and Abbi McInnich (of the current U15 Phoenix) have represented the Virginia Legacy at the id2 regional camp.
In addition to the Germantown camp, US Club Soccer will hold their regional camp at two other locations throughout the country, one being in St. Louis, MO, and the other in Irvine, CA.
“We as a club are extremely proud to have one of our own participate in this high level event. Ta’jee is very deserving of this selection and we know he will represent the Legacy well,” says Dan Lader, VLSC Director of Player Development.
This year’s four-day camp in Germantown will begin on Thursday, September 20 and will commence on Sunday, September 23. For more information about the US Club Soccer id2 Regional Training camp sponsored NIKE, visit www.usclubsoccer.org.
