Legacy’s
Midweek Report
May
25, 2005
1.
Last Game- Despite playing well and scoring in the early
minutes of the game the Legacy could not hold on to their lead.
Andrew Hoxie chipped the West Virginia goalie from 20 yards out
to give the Legacy an early 1-0 lead.
Then the Chaos answered around the 30 minute when a driven ball
across the box was put into the side net making the score1-1.
Soon after Brendan McCurdy received a red card in the 35 minute
for a foul that happened right next to the Chaos bench.
The Legacy then played with ten men for the rest of the match and
despite a number of good chances were not able to find the back of the
net for the rest of the game. In
the 88 minute the Chaos served a ball across the front of the box and
was deflected directly to a Chaos player who scored what would be the
winning goal. The
Legacy’s first lost at home this season.
