Williamsburg
Soccer Club Penalty Kick Competition
During
the Spring season the Williamsburg Soccer Club will have its club wide
first annual Penalty Kick Competition. In the next two weeks each coach
will have a preliminary penalty kick shootout for their team. At the end
of the team competition there will be two representatives from each team
that will go to the “finals”. We will also need 6 goalkeepers to
represent the club, 3 boys and 3 girls. Please email the soccer office

you would like to be included.
In
our continuing relationship with the men and women’s soccer teams at
William and Mary the finals of the club wide PK Competition will be held
at Busch Field at half time of the men’s spring game against Fairleigh
Dickinson University on Saturday April 12, 2003. Kick off time is
7:00pm.
At
half time 3 penalty kicks will be taken by each participant until a
champion is determined. There will be three age groups for boys and
girls:
Developmental
U10 Boys Girls
Travel
team U10-U12 Boys Girls
Travel
team U13-U14 Boys Girls
Both
the champion and runner up in each age group will receive a season pass
to all Williamsburg Legacy Premier Developmental League games. The
champion will also receive a trophy from William and Mary.
The
game itself versus Farleigh Dickinson University take place on Saturday
April 12, 2003. Kick off time is 7:00pm at Busch Field. All Williamsburg
Soccer Club players will be admitted free if they wear something with
the Williamsburg logo on it. Parents will be admitted for $3 each.
Regular prices are $4 for adults and $2 for children.
This
should be a fun night, please get involved. Make sure your coach does
the preliminary competition at training soon!
