To
all Williamsburg Legacy Supporters:
The
Legacy’s home opener is this Sunday at
5:00 p.m.
against the West Virginia Chaos. The team is looking forward to a
big crowd to get behind them on Sunday, so that they can continue
their hot start to the season. The game will be held at the new
Albert/Daly field on the William & Mary campus. The stadium
seats about 2000 people. As usual there are a number of special
promotions that we will be offering before and during the game.
Game
Day Promotions
Sunday’s
game is sponsored by the Williamsburg Soccer Club and Colonial FC
in light of the merger that was announced last Friday. Any travel
players who come to the game wearing WSC or Colonial FC logod
gear will get into the game for just $1.
Also,
it is Developmental League Recognition night. Before the game, at
3:30 pm, for all those who are enrolled in the Boys/Girls
Developmental and Beginners clinic there will be a clinic with
Johnny Kamara and some of the Legacy
players.. All students participating will get into the game with
free admission. Also, all students will be honored at halftime.
At
the game we will also be raffling off an L.A. Galaxy jersey.
Tickets will be just $1 for this replica of the official jersey of
the L.A. Galaxy.
Half
Time Promotions
Everybody’s
favorite will be back on Sunday: The Legacy Frisbee Toss! The
first 45 people through the gate will receive a Williamsburg
Legacy Frisbee to toss from the stands at halftime. On the field
will be several Nike banners and a big Williamsburg Soccer Club
banner. If your Frisbee lands on a Nike
banner you win a Nike prize and if you land on the Williamsburg
Soccer Club banner than you’ve hit the jackpot: A free week at a
Legacy soccer camp this summer.
Other
Promotions:
There
will be numerous prizes being given out during the evening
including, Nike merchandise, mini balls, pennants, and much, much
more.
The
Legacy games are a fun time to see quality soccer in a family
environment. We hope you can make it on Sunday to cheer the lads
on.
