LEGACY PLAYER NAMED FIRST TEAM ALL-AMERICAN
Two
Legacy players invited to Major League Soccer Combine
Today
Williamsburg Legacy player Gonzalo Segares was one of only
three defenders named to the NCAA Division 1 College All-American
team. Segares, a native of Costa Rica, has been a key member of the
Legacy since the inaugural season in 2002. He has played in each of
the three seasons the Legacy has been in existence as either a left
back or center back for the team. He has also been a stand out player

In
addition to being named an All American Segares has also been
invited to the Major League Soccer Combine in late January in Carson,
California at the new Home Depot Center. Also representing the Legacy
will be Noah Palmer who played in goal for the Legacy in 2002
and 2003. Palmer has just returned from the Home Depot Center where
his Maryland Terps team was eliminated after sudden death over time in
