Overview
The Virginia Legacy Soccer Club is fortunate to provide top quality indoor programs for its members. All indoor training is held at the Williamsburg Indoor Sports Complex (WISC).
The WISC is home to the Virginia Legacy club office and two (2) regulation indoor arenas. The state-of-the-art FIELDTURF arena is used year round for adult leagues and youth training, while the tiled arena is the only USSF approved surface for Futsal.
Both surfaces demand different techniques and qualities from players. The VLSC Winter Indoor Program helps refine and continue the growth of each player in the club.
Futsal
Futsal is a game developed in South America. The ball is small and does not bounce as much as a regular soccer ball. Playing Futsal develops technique and demands players make quick decisions in a tight area. Brazilians are known for using this game to help develop their world class ability. The VLSC is able to offer Futsal to their teams with a state-of-the-art facility.
Program
All VLSC travel and youth developmental players have access to this facility. The VLSC creates a club structured event structure that will help best develop their players and continue their growth. Teams will play a combination of league, tournament, and friendly matches during the winter months. Each team will have their schedule catered to them based on their stage of development.
